July is almost over!

It's hard to believe that July is almost over. This has been a good week. We have done a couple of fun, yet inexpensive activities this week as a family. On Sunday after church, we made a picnic dinner (blt's, chips, fruit and cookies) and went up to Big Springs. It's a park we discovered above Vivian Park in Provo Canyon. It was a beautiful day and we just spread out a blanket, ate, laid around, read, and Jake played his guitar. We also played in the little stream and took Sophie (our dog) for a walk.

On Monday morning Jon, me, J'Nell, Maddie and Sophie walked 5 miles on the Provo Canyon Parkway. It was beautiful and we were all proud of ourselves for exercising.

We went to a dollar movie for Family Night and watched Ironman 2. It was pretty good.

I took the girls shopping Wednesday night to get some school clothes. We went to a thrift store, then to Target. There's nothing like school shopping on a tight budget!!

I've been working all week, but my numbers are lower than usual due to the summer. A lot of my clients are out of town, or home from school, it should pick up in the Fall. We are a bit stressed out financially, but we are trying to be careful. Jon is still looking for a job, so is Jake.

J'Nell and I had Young Womens activity last night and we had a camp party. We played camp games and watched a slide show of the pictures from camp. It was fun to visit with the girls and the leaders.

Jon, me, J'Nell and Sophie went walking again this morning. We made it about 5.5 miles on the Provo Canyon Parkway.

I've got a few sessions today, then plan on heading home and cleaning the house....can't wait!
